Kaysie Rose's Website!

As a teaching assistant at Iowa State, I have covered a large variety of roles: recitation leader, help room tutor, stand-alone instructor, and grader. In addition, I am the Math Department's Lead Teaching Assistant for the 2025-2026 academic year.

I have taught Math 1600 Survey of Calculus as a stand-alone three times, twice in-person and once online. Survey of Calculus is not a coordinated class, and so I had a wide degree of freedom to develop my own lesson plans, exams, and teaching strategies.

Besides teaching at the university level, I also taught for two years at Benjamin Franklin High School in Queen Creek, Arizona. In addition to math classes, I personally designed the Speech and Debate curriculum from the ground up.
